CGIT
Canadian Girls in Training (CGIT) is a Christian program for girls between the ages of 11 and 15, who meet weekly from September to May for activities based on the 4 fold purpose: Cherish Health, Seek Truth, Know God, and Serve Others. Some activities CGIT groups enjoy include: music, games, crafts, Bible study and discussions, drama, banquets, parties, camping, guest speakers, and participation in worship services. CGIT encourages girls to build on their strengths and develop leadership skills.
There is one CGIT group in Ottawa at this time at
Kanata United Church, 33 Leacock Dr. Kanata.
